SERPed.net vs Serpstat (2026)

Prices and features checked November 4, 2026

The short answer

Pick SERPed.net if you run a small agency or freelance practice and want white-label PDF reports, a lead-capture audit widget and local map-grid tracking for $79 a month. Pick Serpstat if your work is keyword and competitor research, because its own keyword and backlink databases, paid search data and AI Visibility checks go further, and its plans include far more rank checks for the money. Serpstat charges $499 a month before it adds white-label reports, which SERPed includes on every plan. Serpstat also has chat and email support, while SERPed works through help desk tickets.

Which wins for what

  • White-label client reports on a small budget SERPed.net SERPed includes unlimited branded site reports from its $79 Premium plan, while Serpstat keeps white-label reports for its $499 Agency plan.
  • Finding new clients SERPed.net SERPed's Site Auditor Pro is a free-audit form for your own site that emails each visitor a report under your brand and passes the lead to your autoresponder.
  • Local SEO and map rankings SERPed.net SERPed has a Google local tracker, Local GeoGrid map checks and two citation tools, and Serpstat's rank tracker page mentions none of these.
  • Keyword and competitor research Serpstat Serpstat runs its own keyword database across 230 countries and shows competitors' paid keywords and ads, where SERPed's Premium plan allows 170 keyword reports a month.

Pricing compared

Prices were checked on November 4, 2026, in US dollars. SERPed adds VAT or local sales tax at checkout where it applies.

Plan level SERPed.net Serpstat
Entry Premium, $79 a month or $53 billed yearly Individual, $69 a month or $50 billed yearly
Middle Ultimate, $179 a month or $120 billed yearly Team, $129 a month or $100 billed yearly
Upper Enterprise, $379 a month or $253 billed yearly Team x2, $209 a month or $169 billed yearly
Top Agency add-on, $29 a month or $20 billed yearly, on top of any plan Agency, $499 a month or $410 billed yearly

At the entry level Serpstat is $10 a month cheaper, but the two plans buy different things. SERPed Premium covers 20 sites, two team accounts, 250 white-label audits and unlimited branded reports. Serpstat Individual is a one-person plan with 5 projects, and it leaves out the API, keyword lists, AI tools and JavaScript rendering in site audits. Most agencies looking at Serpstat will want Team at $129 a month, which adds three users, unlimited projects and the API.

The gap widens if you report to clients. A SERPed account with Premium and the Agency add-on for client dashboards costs $108 a month. Serpstat's white-label reports start on Agency at $499. SERPed calls the add-on's $29 price a launch price (the list price is $49), so check it at checkout.

The trials differ as well. SERPed charges $7 for the first 30 days of Premium or Ultimate, then bills the normal monthly price, and promises a full refund if you ask within 30 days. Serpstat's 7-day trial on Individual or Team is free: it charges $1 to check your card and returns it within 30 minutes. Renewal is switched on by default, and Serpstat's terms say payments are non-refundable, so turn off automatic renewal in Settings before day seven if you are only testing.

Keyword and competitor research

Serpstat's research tools are the stronger of the two. It keeps its own keyword database, which it puts at 8.62 billion keywords across 230 countries, and shows volume, difficulty and cost per click for each term. Enter a competitor's domain and you see its organic and paid keywords, a traffic estimate and the ads it runs, which helps if you plan PPC campaigns as well as SEO. Team and higher plans add keyword lists, batch domain analysis and AI tools. The limit to watch on Individual is 100 searches a day, shared across sites, keywords and links.

SERPed covers the same ground with a monthly allowance: 170 keyword reports a month on Premium, 500 on Ultimate. Its Long Tail Keywords tool pulls ideas from Google, Bing, YouTube, Amazon and eBay, which suits someone who sells on marketplaces or runs a YouTube channel. What Ranks Where shows the keywords any site ranks for, and SERPed's summer 2026 update added search intent and SERP feature columns to it. The research side does the job for a small agency's day-to-day work, but anyone who spends most of the day digging through competitors' keywords will get further with Serpstat.

Rank tracking and local SEO

Both tools track Google rankings on desktop and mobile, with competitors beside you, and both let you choose daily or less frequent updates.

Serpstat gives you more checks for less money. Individual includes 10,000 position checks a month and Team 50,000. Serpstat's help article on credits (from 2021) says each keyword update in one region uses one check, so 10,000 checks cover about 330 keywords updated daily. Its tracker covers any country, state or city in Google's 230 regions, tracks positions in Google AI Overviews and can import projects from another rank tracker for free.

SERPed's Premium plan allows 2,500 checks a month, which SERPed itself translates to 83 keywords checked daily or 250 checked every three days. That allowance is shared between Rank Tracker and Local Tracker. In return you get wider coverage. Rank Tracker follows Google by country, city or area, plus Bing and Yahoo by country, and separate trackers cover YouTube and Amazon, with 100 keywords each on Premium.

Local work is where SERPed pulls ahead. Local Tracker follows Google local results for businesses with a Google Business Profile, and Local GeoGrid plots rankings at points across a map, updated every 7 or 30 days. Citation Scanner and Competitor Citations show which directories a business is missing from and where its local rivals already appear. Serpstat tracks city-level rankings, but its rank tracker page says nothing about map-pack or grid tracking.

Backlinks, site audits and AI visibility

The two get their link data from different places. SERPed reads Moz and Majestic through their APIs, so Site Explorer shows Domain Authority, Page Authority, Trust Flow and Citation Flow, plus its own SERPed Rank. The summer 2026 update added Ahrefs Domain Rating and Semrush Authority Score columns, which gives you four familiar authority scores on one screen without four subscriptions. Backlinks Manager watches your own links and emails you when one disappears. Premium includes 200 Site and Backlinks Explorer searches a month.

Serpstat built its own backlink index in 2023 and says it holds 529 billion links. You can browse any site's links and referring domains, though each report shows at most 2,000 links on Individual and 10,000 on every higher plan, Agency included.

For technical audits, Serpstat's Site Audit crawls 30,000 pages a month on Individual and 150,000 on Team, ranks issues by priority and reruns on a schedule. JavaScript rendering starts on Team. SERPed splits the job: Site Crawler (20 crawls a month on Premium) finds broken links and HTTP errors, and each site in Site Manager gets an SEO audit with suggested fixes.

AI is the clearest gap. Serpstat's AI Visibility, formerly LLM Brand Monitor, checks how ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini and other models describe your brand and competitors, with 1,500 checks a month on Team and 3,000 on Agency. Team also adds an MCP connection, so you can query Serpstat data from ChatGPT or Claude. SERPed's home page says its keyword research is now enhanced with AI but does not say how, and it lists no tool for AI search.

Client reporting and lead generation

This is the main reason to choose SERPed. Every plan includes unlimited site reports: you build a PDF from rankings, backlinks and metrics, save it as a template, add your own branding and have SERPed email it to you or your client daily, weekly or monthly. The Agency add-on goes further, with drag-and-drop dashboards and a separate login for each client.

Site Auditor Pro turns your own website into a lead source. You embed a free-audit form, a visitor enters their site, and they receive a report with your brand and contact details while their name and email go to your autoresponder, such as Platformly, AWeber, Mailchimp, GetResponse or Ontraport. Premium covers 250 of these leads a month. Mobile Prospector and Citation Scanner help you find local businesses with problems you can fix.

Serpstat handles reporting differently. Its rank tracker sends custom reports to any recipient on a schedule you set and alerts you when rankings change, and the pricing page lists scheduled reports and shared access as Team features. Reports carry Serpstat's branding until you reach the $499 Agency plan, and it has no audit widget for collecting leads.

One caution on SERPed: a few of its tools sit outside Google's guidelines. Social Exchanger trades reviews and social engagement for credits, and the aged and expiring domain finders are pitched partly at private blog networks. Agencies with cautious clients may prefer to leave them alone.

Ease of use and support

SERPed puts every tool on every plan and changes only the limits, so a Premium account sees the same 40-plus tools as Enterprise. That makes the menu long, but you never hit a locked feature. Site Manager pulls rankings, links, authority scores and an audit for each site onto one project page, which is where most people will spend their time. The Chrome extension shows Moz and Majestic metrics for any page you visit, and the WordPress plugin adds tracking code and opt-in forms.

Serpstat locks more behind plan tiers. The API, keyword lists, AI tools, JavaScript rendering and AI Visibility all start on Team, and white-label reports on Agency, so check the comparison table on its pricing page before you buy Individual. It has browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge, plus connectors for Google Sheets and Looker Studio.

Support favors Serpstat. You can open a chat from its site, email [email protected] or ask for a personal demo, and Agency customers get phone support. SERPed has a ticket form and says it normally replies within 24 business hours. It has no live chat or phone line, so an urgent problem waits in the ticket queue.

Who each one suits

SERPed.net suits a small agency or freelancer with up to 20 client sites who wants to send branded reports, capture leads from a free-audit form and track local rankings, all for $79 a month. It also suits someone who manages a portfolio of niche sites and buys expired domains, since those tools come with every plan.

Serpstat suits an in-house SEO or a research-heavy consultant who needs deeper keyword and competitor data, plenty of daily rank checks, PPC research and early tracking of how AI tools mention a brand. A team that pulls data into its own dashboards will want Serpstat Team for the API. If you need white-label reports and also want Serpstat's research data, compare the $499 Agency plan with SERPed Premium plus the $29 Agency add-on before deciding. For a broader set of options, see SE Ranking and Semrush.

Questions people ask

Is SERPed.net cheaper than Serpstat?

At the entry level Serpstat is cheaper: Individual costs $69 a month against $79 for SERPed Premium, checked on November 4, 2026. SERPed becomes the cheaper option for agencies, because white-label reports come on every SERPed plan and only on Serpstat's $499 Agency plan. SERPed Premium with the $29 Agency add-on costs $108 a month.

Which has more rank tracking?

Serpstat includes more checks: 10,000 a month on Individual and 50,000 on Team, against 2,500 on SERPed Premium (83 keywords daily). SERPed covers more places to track, with Bing, Yahoo, YouTube, Amazon and Google local results plus Local GeoGrid map checks. Serpstat's tracker page names Google only, including AI Overview positions.

Do both tools have a free trial?

Serpstat has a free 7-day trial on Individual or Team, with a $1 card check that it returns within 30 minutes. The plan renews automatically afterward unless you switch renewal off. SERPed has no free trial; it charges $7 for the first 30 days of Premium or Ultimate and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Can I get a refund from either one?

SERPed promises a full refund if you ask through its help desk within the first 30 days. Serpstat's terms say payments are non-refundable and that unused time is not grounds for a refund, though it says it will consider justified requests sent to [email protected].

Which is better for white-label agency reports?

SERPed. Every plan includes unlimited branded PDF reports that it can email on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule, and the Agency add-on adds client dashboards with their own logins. Serpstat includes white-label reports only on its Agency plan at $499 a month.

Where does each tool get its backlink data?

SERPed reads Moz and Majestic data through their APIs and, since its summer 2026 update, also shows Ahrefs Domain Rating and Semrush Authority Score. Serpstat uses its own backlink index, launched in 2023, and caps each report at 2,000 links on Individual and 10,000 on higher plans.
