Prices and features checked November 4, 2026

The short answer

Pick SERPed.net if you're a freelancer or small agency who wants white-label PDF reports, a lead-capture audit widget, local citation tools and room for 20 sites for $79 a month, with the first 30 days for $7. Pricing compared

SERPed.net has three plans, and every plan includes all of its tools; bigger plans raise the limits. Premium costs $79 a month, Ultimate $179 and Enterprise $379. Paying yearly drops those to $53, $120 and $253 a month, which SERPed describes as four months free. Premium and Ultimate start with 30 days for $7 and then renew at the monthly price, and SERPed refunds you in full if you cancel within your first 30 days. There is no free plan and no free trial.

SE Ranking sells Core at $129 a month and Growth at $279, or $103.20 and $223.20 a month on yearly billing, which it charges upfront. Enterprise is priced by sales. You can use the whole suite for 14 days without a card, with up to 10 projects and 750 tracked keywords a day. SE Ranking's FAQ doesn't state a refund policy, so ask before you pay for a year.

The add-ons change the sums for agencies. SERPed's Agency add-on, which gives clients their own dashboards, costs $29 a month at its launch price (list price $49), or $20 a month billed yearly. SE Ranking's Agency Pack costs from $69 a month and is sold with yearly plans only. Extra SE Ranking manager seats cost from $16 a month each, and its API from $45 a month.

On yearly billing with white-label client access, SERPed Premium plus the Agency add-on comes to $73 a month, against $172.20 for SE Ranking Core plus the Agency Pack. For that difference SERPed gives you twice the sites (20 against 10 projects) and two team accounts against one. SE Ranking gives you far more daily rank tracking, which the next section covers.

All prices are in US dollars before sales tax or VAT, checked on November 4, 2026.

Rank tracking and keyword research

The two tools count rank tracking in different units, and that decides most choices between them. SERPed counts rank checks per month and lets you set how often each keyword updates, from daily to weekly or anything in between. Premium's 2,500 checks a month cover about 83 keywords updated daily, or about 625 updated weekly. Ultimate's 7,000 checks cover about 233 daily keywords and Enterprise's 22,000 about 733. SE Ranking counts keywords checked every day: 2,000 on Core and 5,000 on Growth. Once you need daily positions for more than a couple of hundred keywords, SE Ranking is cheaper per keyword even though its plans cost more.

Coverage overlaps a lot. SERPed tracks Google by country, city or area and Bing and Yahoo by country, on desktop and mobile, with separate trackers for Google's local results, YouTube and Amazon. Its Instant Check returns live positions for up to 25 keywords in a few minutes. SE Ranking checks the top 100 results on Google, Bing and YouTube on desktop and mobile, by country, region, city or ZIP code, and records more than 35 Google SERP features.

For keyword research, SERPed's Keyword Analyzer and Long Tail Keywords return volume, cost per click, trends and a difficulty score, and What Ranks Where shows the keywords any site ranks for in Google's top 100. Since its summer 2026 update, What Ranks Where also labels search intent and SERP features, and you can send keywords to Rank Tracker in bulk. SE Ranking works from a keyword database it puts at 5.5 billion keywords across 188 countries.

SE Ranking also tracks AI search. Core and Growth include 25 prompts a day across five AI engines, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, with sentiment and share of voice. SERPed lists no AI search tracking, so if a client asks how ChatGPT describes their brand, SE Ranking is the one that answers.

Backlinks and site audits

SE Ranking runs its own backlink index, which it puts at 2.9 trillion backlinks. The Backlink Checker shows any domain's referring domains, anchors, new and lost links and a toxicity score, and the Backlink Gap Analyzer compares you with up to five competitors to find sites that link to them and not to you. For links pointing at your own site, Backlink Monitor checks that each one is still live and indexed, pulls new links in from Google Search Console and emails you when something changes. It also writes a disavow file from the spam links you tick. SE Ranking doesn't publish how many links each plan can monitor.

SERPed reads Moz and Majestic data through their APIs instead of building its own index. You see Domain Authority, Trust Flow and Citation Flow, plus its own SERPed Rank, and the summer 2026 update added Ahrefs Domain Rating and Semrush Authority Score to Site Explorer and Site Manager. Backlinks Explorer lists each link with its anchor text, link type and Google index status, and Backlinks Manager alerts you to new and lost links on your own sites. That suits an agency whose clients already know these authority scores. For digging through a competitor's link profile, SE Ranking goes further.

Audits differ in scale. SE Ranking's Website Audit crawls up to 250,000 pages a month on Core and 2 million on Growth. SERPed's SEO Audit checks pages for on-page, off-page, mobile, speed and security problems and can rerun weekly, monthly or quarterly, while Site Crawler finds broken internal links and HTTP errors and Index Checker confirms which URLs Google has indexed. For a large site, SE Ranking's page allowance is the safer bet.

White-label reports, client access and lead capture

For a small agency, reporting is SERPed's strongest case. Every plan builds branded PDF reports from the metrics, backlinks and rankings you pick, saves them as templates and emails them to you or your client daily, weekly or monthly. Site Auditor Pro is a free-audit form you embed on your own site, or add through SERPed's WordPress plugin. A visitor enters their site and gets an audit report under your brand, and their details go to you or to an email tool such as Platformly, AWeber, Mailchimp, GetResponse or Ontraport. Premium includes 250 of these white-label audits a month, Ultimate 2,500 and Enterprise 7,500. The Agency add-on adds drag-and-drop client dashboards with their own logins, and you can pay for it monthly.

SE Ranking keeps its white-label features in the Agency Pack, from $69 a month on yearly plans. The pack does more: the whole platform under your logo, colors and domain, unlimited white-label reports sent from your agency's domain, and client seats with access to the sections you choose. SE Ranking's own pages disagree on how many client seats you get, 10 on the Agency Pack page and 30 in the FAQ, so confirm the number with sales. Its Lead Generator audit widget collects up to 100 emails a month. The free trial includes the Agency Pack, so you can test it before you commit to a year.

If you want branded reports and a lead-capture audit without a yearly contract, SERPed is cheaper and gives you more audits. If your clients should log in to something that looks like your own SEO platform on your own domain, SE Ranking's pack goes further.

Local SEO and the extra tools

SERPed includes its local tools in every plan. Local Tracker follows Google's local results, Local GeoGrid plots where a business ranks at points across a map and updates every 7 or 30 days, and Citation Scanner shows directories such as Yelp, Yellow Pages and the Better Business Bureau where a business is missing. Competitor Citations lists where local rivals already appear, and Review Badges put a business's Yelp, TripAdvisor or Facebook pages on its website.

SE Ranking's Local Marketing tool tracks grid points down to street level, collects reviews from Google, Facebook, Yelp, TripAdvisor and others so you can reply in one place, and updates business details across Google Business Profile, Facebook, Apple and Bing. It manages reviews and listings, which SERPed doesn't. SE Ranking lists it among its add-ons, and we couldn't confirm a US price, so ask sales before you plan a local campaign around it.

SERPed carries several tools SE Ranking doesn't. Aged Domain Finder lists domains from GoDaddy Auctions, NameJet, SnapNames, Sedo, Dynadot and others with their Moz and Majestic metrics, Content Restorer rebuilds old sites from the Internet Archive, and WordPress Manager updates sites, themes and plugins in bulk. These suit people who run portfolios of niche sites. A few SERPed tools sit outside Google's rules, though. Social Exchanger lets members trade Google and Facebook reviews, comments and follows for credits, and the domain finder is pitched for private blog networks. Leave those alone if you care about your clients' standing with Google.

SE Ranking's extras lean toward content and data: a content editor and AI writer with 25 articles a month on Core, an API, and an MCP server that connects its data to Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.

Ease of use and support

SE Ranking is easier to judge before you pay, because the 14-day trial opens the full suite without a card. It connects to Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Ads, Looker Studio, Zapier, Make and n8n, and it has iOS and Android apps for checking positions away from your desk. SERPed puts more than 40 tools under one login, which is a lot to learn if you mainly want rankings and reports, and some of its pages still use old names such as Google My Business. Its Chrome extension shows a site's metrics and keyword difficulty while you browse, and the WordPress plugin adds tracking code and the free-audit form to your own site.

SE Ranking offers more ways to get help. SERPed takes help desk tickets through a contact form and says it normally replies within 24 business hours; it lists no chat or phone line. SE Ranking's pricing page lists a help center, an academy, chat and email on every plan, and Growth adds dedicated support and personalized onboarding.

Who each one suits

SERPed.net suits a freelancer or a small agency with up to 20 client sites who sends branded monthly reports, wants a free-audit form that brings in leads, and does local work for businesses with a Google Business Profile. Premium costs $79 a month with two team accounts, $50 less than SE Ranking Core with one seat, and the first month costs $7. It also fits niche-site builders who buy aged domains.

SE Ranking suits an in-house marketer or an agency that needs daily positions for hundreds or thousands of keywords, studies competitors' backlinks, or has to report on AI search. It costs more each month and less per tracked keyword, and the free trial lets you check that against your own keyword list first. If you're still weighing other suites, see Semrush for large in-house databases or Ahrefs for link research.
