GetResponse suits a business that wants its newsletter, automated follow-ups, landing pages and webinars under one login, and a creator who sells courses or paid newsletters to the same list. Every paid plan sends unlimited email, and Starter costs $19 a month for 1,000 contacts. Starter only gets one custom automation workflow and three uses of the AI tools, though, so anyone who needs more than a welcome series and one workflow should look at Marketer at $59. Webinars, courses and the website builder start on Creator at $69.

Build campaigns in a drag-and-drop editor, or describe what you want and let the AI generator draft the email. The AI writing assistant inside the editor uses OpenAI, and Starter allows three uses of the AI tools.

Billed monthly, Starter is $29 at 2,500 contacts, $54 at 5,000, $79 at 10,000, $174 at 25,000, $299 at 50,000 and $539 at 100,000; Marketer is $69, $95, $114, $215, $359 and $599; Creator is $79, $109, $134, $249, $414 and $690. Billed yearly, Starter is $64.78 a month at 10,000 contacts, Marketer $93.48 and Creator $109.88. GetResponse bills on the peak number of active contacts in the month, and contacts you add and then delete in the same month still count. Charities and NGOs get 50% off monthly plans.

Is GetResponse free?
Yes, the free plan holds up to 500 contacts and sends up to 2,500 newsletters a month, with one published landing page and sign-up forms. A GetResponse badge goes on every email, A/B tests are off and landing pages are limited to 1,000 unique visits a month. Once you reach 500 contacts, new sign-ups wait in a queue for 32 days or until you upgrade.
Does GetResponse have a free trial?
Every new free account gets 14 days of premium features without a credit card. After that the account drops to the free plan unless you upgrade. Enterprise buyers can ask for a 30-day pilot after booking a demo.
How much does GetResponse cost?
As of November 4, 2026, for 1,000 contacts billed monthly, Starter is $19 a month, Marketer $59 and Creator $69. Paying yearly takes 18% off, which brings Starter to $15.58 a month. Enterprise is priced by quote.
What is the difference between Starter and Marketer?
