The short answer
Jotform suits a small business or office whose forms do real work: taking a payment, collecting a signature, routing a request for approval or gathering answers in a field with no signal. It has 20,000+ templates, 40+ payment gateways with no added Jotform fee, and HIPAA features with a signed BAA on Gold and Enterprise. Volume is where it gets expensive. The free plan stops at 100 submissions a month, and Bronze, Silver and Gold each cap submissions and payment submissions, so a busy order form can outgrow Bronze and push you toward Gold at $99 a month billed yearly.

Is Jotform free?
Yes. The Starter plan costs nothing and gives you 5 forms, 100 submissions a month and 10 payment submissions a month. Free forms show Jotform branding, which Bronze and higher plans remove.
How much does Jotform cost?
Bronze is $39 a month, or $34 a month billed yearly ($408). Silver is $49 a month or $39 billed yearly, and Gold is $129 a month or $99 billed yearly. Enterprise is priced on request. These were the listed prices on November 4, 2026.
Does Jotform charge transaction fees on payments?
Jotform says it adds no transaction fee on its Stripe and PayPal integrations, so you pay only the processor's standard rate. Payment submissions count against a monthly cap, from 10 on Starter to 1,000 on Gold.
Is Jotform HIPAA compliant?
Jotform offers HIPAA features on the Gold and Enterprise plans only, and eligible customers can sign a Business Associate Agreement. Starter, Bronze and Silver don't include them, so a practice handling patient data should budget for Gold at $99 a month billed yearly.
