The short answer
Fillout gives you unlimited forms and seats with 1,000 responses a month for free, and the free plan already includes Stripe payments, scheduling, PDF generation and most integrations. Its forms can create and update records in Airtable, Notion, HubSpot and other tools, which makes it a good front end for a database you already run. Paid plans charge per account, so a big team costs the same as one person. Skip it if you need PayPal, a free CAPTCHA, or Salesforce without paying $300 a month for the Team plan.
Choose it if
- Your work runs in Airtable or Notion and you want forms that add or edit records there, including pre-filled update forms
- You take card, ACH or Affirm payments through Stripe and want subscriptions and discount codes without a per-transaction fee from the form builder
- Several people need to build and edit forms, since every plan has unlimited seats at one flat price
- You want booking pages and forms in one tool, with Google Calendar or Outlook sync and round-robin meetings on the free plan
- You collect a few hundred responses a month, up to 1,000, and want to stay on a free plan for now
Skip it if
- Your buyers expect a PayPal button, because Stripe is the only payment processor Fillout lists
- You need CAPTCHA, your own logo or emails to respondents without paying, since those start on the $15-a-month Starter plan
- You need Salesforce on a small budget, because the Salesforce integration comes only with the Team plan ($300 a month) or Enterprise
- Your forms collect health data that needs HIPAA coverage, which Fillout's security and pricing pages do not mention
- You need EU data hosting on a small plan, since Fillout offers EU hosting for responses from the Team plan up
Main features
Forms that write to your database
Each submission can create or update records in Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Monday.com, Attio and other tools, and one form can write to several tables at once. You can also send someone a pre-filled form that edits their existing record.
Stripe payments
A payment page takes one-time, subscription or pay-what-you-want payments by card, US bank account (ACH), Affirm or Stripe Link, with discount codes and free trials. Payment pages work on every plan, including Free, and each page can pay into a different Stripe account.
Scheduling
Booking pages sync with Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook and handle round-robin and group meetings, with email and SMS reminders. The free plan covers up to 1,000 meetings a month, and you can take a Stripe payment before or after the booking.
Logic and calculations
Conditional logic shows or hides questions and whole pages based on earlier answers, URL parameters or outside data. Calculations work out order totals or quiz scores, and answer piping repeats a respondent's earlier answers later in the form.
Workflows after submission
A workflow starts when someone submits a form, leaves it unfinished or books a meeting, then sends emails, Slack, Teams or Discord messages, Twilio texts, webhooks or approval requests. AI actions can summarize a submission, sort it into categories or pull out details.
PDFs and signatures
Fillout fills a PDF or document template with each response and can attach it to the notification email or let the respondent download it. Signature fields for waivers and contracts start on the Starter plan.
Login forms and saved progress
Login forms ask respondents to sign in with a one-time email code, so they can come back and change what they sent. Respondents can resume a half-finished form on every plan, and the Business plan lets you see those partial submissions.
AI form building
Fillout's Form Agent adds fields, pages, logic and calculations from a plain-language request. You can also start from a PDF or import an existing Google Form instead of rebuilding it by hand.
Embeds on any site
You can share a form by link or QR code or embed it on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Notion or Softr as a standard block, pop-up, slider or full-screen form.
Pricing
Prices checked on November 4, 2026, in US dollars, as shown on Fillout's pricing page. Every plan has unlimited seats, so the price is per account. If you pass your monthly response limit, your forms keep collecting answers and the count resets on the 1st of the month. Fillout adds no fee to Stripe payments; Stripe's own processing fees still apply. Fillout offers discounts to nonprofits, students, startups and schools through an application form.

Is Fillout free?
Yes. The free plan has no end date and gives you unlimited forms and seats with 1,000 responses a month. Payments, scheduling, PDF generation, logic and most integrations are included. Free forms carry a Fillout badge, and CAPTCHA, your own logo and emails to respondents need a paid plan.
How much does Fillout cost?
Starter is $19 a month, Pro $49 and Business $89 when billed monthly. Billed yearly they come to $15, $40 and $75 a month ($180, $480 and $900 a year). The Team plan, which adds Salesforce and team permissions, is $300 a month or $3,000 a year. Prices were checked on November 4, 2026.
Does Fillout work with PayPal?
No. Fillout's payment pages run on Stripe, and its payments page lists card, ACH, Affirm and Stripe Link as the payment methods. If your customers expect a PayPal button, Jotform supports PayPal among its payment processors.
Does Fillout take a cut of payments?
Fillout says it adds 0% to Stripe payments, on every plan. You still pay Stripe's normal processing fees, which come out of each payment in your Stripe account.
What happens if I go over my response limit?
Your forms keep collecting responses. You can upgrade, or wait until the count resets on the 1st of the next month. The Business plan removes the response limit.
Is Fillout secure and HIPAA compliant?
Fillout lists SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, encryption in transit and at rest, and daily encrypted backups. Its security, pricing and enterprise pages do not mention HIPAA or a business associate agreement, so ask Fillout directly before you collect health records. EU hosting for responses is available from the Team plan up.
What is the connection between Fillout and Zite?
Fillout is now presented as "Fillout by Zite", and both products come from Restly, Inc. Zite is a sister app builder for databases and internal tools, and you sign in to Fillout through a Zite account. Fillout keeps its own site, pricing and plans, and the Team plan bundles both products.
