Pros: I am charged with updating a database on a day to day basis, and for a long time I worried about someone gaining access and stealing the data, which includes a lot of customer credit card numbers. My boss bought VyprVPN and since I installed it about 2 years ago I feel a lot more secure. It has strong encryption and my system has passed all security audits with flying colors.
Cons: Since I installed VyprVPN I haven't experienced any problems that are serious enough to write about here. I see some reviews where users complain about the cost of this software. My employer buys mine for me, so I cannot say much on that front, but I think it is cheap, considering what you get in return.
