Pros: SEMrush is one of those tools that's got everything, but there are some aspects of it that I think need working on. It is excellent for building an SEO strategy for clients because it gives so many actionable insights. It's also very good for keyword research - you can see exactly which keywords and phrases you should be targeting, and you can monitor them to see how they are doing. It's a good tool for those who are doing PPC as you can see what others are doing and know where you should be focused. It provides reports and notifications that are meaningful - they help keep sites on the right track.
Cons: SEMrush is a good tool but there are some things that it can do better. First is their traffic predictions. They are almost always off. If you want to see where the market is heading, this is not the most effective tool. However, my biggest problem with this tool is customer service. When I wanted to use the feature that shows you what keywords competitors are using it wasn't working, and when I called customer service it took almost a week to get this issue resolved. They did help me, but after a lot of back and forth and I was passed to and from many different customer service people.
