The dunning process consists a few steps:-
Step 1- If customer payment fails, the software automatically sends email notification to the customer about failed transaction and ask them to update their payment method.
Step 2- If customer doesn’t respond then the software again sends email notification to the customer and gives grace period so that the customer has time to update their payment information before subscription cancellation.
Step 3- After minimum 3 retries, still customer doesn’t update their payment details then the software cancel their subscription.
And all this steps will deal automatically with your customers that is the key point of this feature.
