Features & Functionality

Pros: Everyone who has used this tool will agree that it is one of the best for SEO. There are some things it does very well. It's very good for keyword and backlink research and the content marketing toolkit helps create content that ranks easily. I also like the social media toolkit because it makes posting and managing social media so much easier. For those keen on backlinks, this tool has an inbuilt link builder that will save you having to buy additional software.

Cons: My biggest problem with SEMrush is that it provides so much information that for the first few weeks I found it almost unusable. There is no onboarding - you have to learn using tutorials, and this takes time. I feel that the company is so keen to add new features that they have lost their initial focus, which was to provide an easy-to-use, effective and affordable SEO tool.
