Pros: 1. It offers the kind of detail I am yet to see with any other SEO tool. You see which keywords you should be targeting, how much you can expect to make with each and over time you can track each to see how it's doing. 2. The dashboards are easy - everything is right there for you to see. 3. You can see what others in your niche are doing and either copy them or go another route altogether. 4. You see an improvement in rankings almost as soon as you start using Ahrefs.
Cons: 1. So many features that it's difficult to put them all to use unless you do SEO full time. 2. If you compare searches from Google to Ahref keyword data, you'll find that sometimes Ahrefs isn't updated. 3. No PPC research facility. How do I create an advertising strategy?
